Weighted On-Base Average (wOBA) is one of the most important and popular catch-all offensive statistics. Designed to weigh all aspects of hitting proportionally to determine true value of a hitter by considering the values of each unique offensive output, from walks to home runs. .320 is considered average so any number greater rates as above average.
