Zen Moment: A Couple of Memorial Day DFS Picks!

Normally I have just been posting the Zen Moment on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays at FantasyDraft the days, barring the weather, especially so far in 2017, that a full complement of games is available on which to make our DFS choices.

Although, with all the early holiday games, there are only seven from which we can pick rosters, so, I am just giving a couple–a pitcher and a hitter–whom I think will help you gain some holiday points.

For our range of games, the weather looks as sunny as it ideally will be with you and yours as you enjoy some sunshine, BBQ, and of course America’s Pastime.

David Price (19,7000)  Coming off three good starts in a row, over which Price went 2-0, 2.21 with 23 strikeouts over 20.3 frames and a sub-1.00 WHIP, Memorial brings the Jays to Boston. Since Toronto hits a poor .228 off Southpaws, and 139 strikeouts (ninth worst in the Majors) Price looks to continue his return to ace status over Toronto, whom he has already bested once this year.

Juan Soto ($7400):

If your budget allows for it, Bryce Harper ($11,100) is indeed the pick for a left-handed batter going up against the seemingly hapless Alex Cobb (1-6, 7.32) so there is where I go first, but, a stack against the struggling Oriole is not a bad move, and that includes another lefty, hot young hitter Soto. The rookie has a .293-1-3 line over his first six games to go with a .429 OBP and is averaging 7.57 FPPG over his first week in The Show.
