Top Value Picks & Targets for NFL Week 14

In this article, I will be breaking down some of my top value plays on FantasyDraft position by position. I will give you one or two names at each position to consider each week. This article is meant to be used in conjunction with our top plays article that comes out earlier in the week. Using both articles will give you a great base to help with your research.

Quarterback

Marcus Mariota-$10,400-TEN

The Cardinals are one of the best match-ups in the NFL as this season they are allowing the sixth-most fantasy points per game to quarterbacks and the most rushing touchdowns to the position. Not only are the Cardinals a great match-up for Mariota but I like the way Mariota has been playing from a fantasy perspective as he has at least 18 fantasy points in three of his past four games and at least 16 fantasy points in all but two games this season. At only $400 above site minimum, Mariota is my favorite cash game quarterback on this slate as he should easily pay off his salary.

Running Back

Giovani Bernard-$6,000-CIN/ Peyton Barber-$9,300-TB

Both Joe Mixon and Doug Martin are dealing with concussions and their status for this week is up in the air. If both of those guys were to be out this week, Bernard and Barber are going to be my running backs as they both would get the bulk of the touches for their respective teams. Last week when Mixon went down with an injury Bernard received 15 touches and turned those touches into 96 total yards. Barber started for Martin last week and had 27 touches for 143 total yards. Both players produced double-digit fantasy points in those games and both should produce double-digit fantasy points this week as both are in positive match-ups.

Wide Receiver

Zay Jones-$9,000-BUF

Jones struggled last week against a really good Patriots pass defense but I really like Jones to bounce back this week. I like Jones to bounce back for two reasons. The first reason is due to the number of targets Jones has been seeing. Jones has at least seven targets in four straight games and could see even more targets with Jordan Matthews on injured reserve. Jones is not only seeing a lot of targets but he had been turning those targets into production with double-digit fantasy points in his three previous games. The second reason why I like Jones to bounce back is due to the match-up against a Colts secondary that is allowing the sixth-most fantasy points to wide receivers this season.

Tight End

Stephen Anderson-$5,700-HOU

Anderson is on my radar this week after his performance last week. With all the injuries to the Texans pass catchers, Anderson stepped up in a big way with five catches for 79 yards and a score. The Texans are expected to be even more banged up this week with Will Fuller, C.J. Fiedorowicz, Bruce Ellington, and Braxton Miller all either already ruled out or questionable to play this week. That should mean we see plenty of Anderson once again against a 49ers defense that has allowed six touchdowns to the tight end position over their past six games.

Good luck with NFL this week!
