Top Value Picks & Targets for NFL Week 11

In this article, I will be breaking down some of my top value plays on FantasyDraft position by position. I will give you one or two names at each position to consider each week. This article is meant to be used in conjunction with our top plays article that comes out earlier in the week. Using both articles will give you a great base to help with your research.

Jay Cutler-$10,200-MIA

I cannot believe I am about to say this but I really like Jay Cutler this week. While Cutler gets a bad rap for being a bad quarterback for good reason he has some fantasy value this week against the Buccaneers. The Bucs have one of the worst pass defenses in the NFL as this season they are allowing the fourth most passing yards per game and have the fifth-worst DVOA against the pass. Not only is the match-up a great one but Cutler has not been that bad as of late. Cutler has thrown at least two touchdown passes in each of his past four games. I also like how the Dolphins offense is set up with the trade of Jay Ajayi. With Ajayi out of town and the Dolphins always seemingly playing from behind Cutler is averaging 39.5 passing attempts his past two games which is almost ten more than his season average.

Running Back

Doug Martin-$8,400-TB

Martin has struggled the past two games but that doesn’t bother me this week for two reasons. The first reason is due to the fact that Martin is still getting the bulk of the touches for the Bucs as he is coming off a 20 carry game. The second reason why I am not worried about Martin’s last two games is the match-up against the Dolphins. The Dolphins are one of the worst run defenses in the NFL and this season they rank in the bottom third in average yards allowed per carry, DVOA against the run and fantasy points allowed per game to running backs.

Rex Burkhead-$8,300-NE

It never feels good to roster a Patriots running back as you really never know which one of them is going to get the bulk of the work, however, we can make an educated guess based on snap counts and percentage of touches each back gets. Burkhead since coming off injury is trending up in both of those categories. Burkhead has seen an increase of snaps in each of those three games and saw 51% of the snaps last week. Burkhead has also received double-digit touches in each of the past two games and in those games, he has produced at least 15 fantasy points both weeks. This week I am expecting more of the same from Burkhead in a positive match-up against a Raiders team that ranks in the bottom third in DVOA against not only the run but against RB-PA which is an area Burkhead excels in.

Wide Receiver

Jamison Crowder-$9,400-WAS

Unlike last week there is not a lot of value at the wide receiver position. I am going to be spending up to at least the mid-tier at the position. With that being said there is one value wide receiver who stands out to me as an excellent play and that is Jamison Crowder. Jordan Reed is likely to miss his third straight week with a hamstring injury and that should mean lots of targets for Crowder. In the past two games with Reed out, Crowder has seen 24 targets. Crowder has turned those targets into excellent production with 13 catches for 199 yards. Crowder also has three carries in those games and could see a couple carries this week with Rob Kelley out.

Tight End

I cannot stress enough how much you should play Travis Kelce at the tight end position. If you don’t play him chances are very high that you are going to be playing from behind this week. I am all in on Kelce this week and you really should be too.

Good luck with NFL this week!
