Tom Brady ($14,900)

I know I want to own this game in cash and there are reasonable cases to be made for Cooks, Gronk, Hogan, et al, but when it comes down to it we still have a diverse NE offense that rarely does exactly what we think they are going to do.  Give me the guy passing to all of those options. Opposing QBs threw for an average of 275 yards at NO last year and none were named Tom Brady coming off a flat performance in their home opener.  I expect fireworks.

Others to Consider: Drew Brees ($14,600), Matt Ryan ($14,100), Aaron Rodgers ($14,000) I think there’s enough value elsewhere to pay up for the top QBs here in cash.

Ty Montgomery ($10,900)

Another game I’m looking to own as much of as I can with an O/U sitting somewhere around 54 as of writing.  Volume is key in cash games and this guy will get all the volume he can handle.  You can expect 18+ rushing attempts and a solid 4+ targets week in and week out from Montgomery and he can turn any touch into a big play with his explosiveness.

Others to consider: Melvin Gordon ($13,300), Dalvin Cook ($11,000), Tarik Cohen ($7,000)

Keenan Allen ($11,000)

If you want to talk about volume; look no further than Keenan Allen. Allen saw 10 targets in Week 1.  In 2015 before he lacerated his kidney he saw 10+ targets in 5 of the first 7 games.  Philip Rivers loves targeting this guy and they square off against a Miami Dolphins pass defense that was in the bottom 3rd of the league last year vs Fantasy WR.  And he comes in right at the avg salary line.

Others to consider: Stefon Diggs ($11,400), Jordy Nelson ($15,000), Julio Jones ($17,400), Adam Thielen ($9,900)

Coby Fleener ($6,000)

In a game that should shoot out I like taking the value at TE here with Fleener.  NE isn’t historically poor against TE, but they often take away the team’s biggest threat.  That is not Coby Fleener. He did see 6 targets last week en route to hauling in 5 catches for 54 yards and a score and I like that type of volume to continue in another game that NO should be playing from behind.

Others to consider: Jared Cook ($6,400), Charles Clay ($6,000), Cameron Brate ($5900)
