Week 3 Picks: WR & TE

The pass-catchers on your team can be the difference between a winning or losing lineup on FantasyDraft. Here are some picks I like at wide receiver & tight end in week three.

 A.J. Green vs  Baltimore:
The Ravens are missing Terrell Suggs’ pass rush to pressure the QB and they allowed two 100-yard receivers against Oakland last week. Cincinnati will look to get Green going this game after a pedestrian start to the season.

Julian Edelman vs Jacksonville:
’s favorite target is coming off an 11-reception, 2-TD game against the Bills. Edelman is a nightmare for defenses with his speed and quickness in the slot. Jacksonville doesn’t have the defenders to matchup with Edelman.

Emanuel Sanders vs  Detroit:
had 16 catches in the first two games of the season. Peyton Manning loves him on 3rd downs or plays near the end zone, and Detroit’s secondary has been torched so far this season.

Amari Cooper vs Cleveland:
Oakland’s Cooper was a monster last week against Baltimore with 7 receptions, 109 yards and a TD. Cleveland won’t be able to devote all of their attention to him because Michael Crabtree can burn them as well.

Donte Moncrief vs Tennessee:
has a TD in both games this season for the Colts. With T.Y. Hilton hobbled and Andre Johnson ineffective, Andrew Luck went to Moncrief on Monday night against the Jets. Moncrief responded to the tune of 7 catches for 122 yards and a TD.

Others: Travis Benjamin (CLE) vs OAK, Terrance Williams (DAL) vs ATL

Crockett Gillmore vs Cincinnati :
Baltimore has Steve Smith Sr. as their top WR, and Gillmore is the next biggest threat as a pass-catcher for them. Gillmore found the end zone twice against Oakland last week. Look for Flacco to continue to find Gilmore against Cincinnati.

Tyler Eifert vs Baltimore:
is off to a great start with 3 touchdowns already. Andy Dalton likes his TE in the red zone. Cincinnati has multiple formations to get Eifert the ball, so expect that to continue this week.

Others: Greg Olsen (CAR) vs. N.O., Charles Clay (BUF) vs. Miami

London Fletcher

London Fletcher

London Fletcher is a former American football linebacker who played in the National Football League (NFL). Undrafted in 1998, he was signed by the St. Louis Rams as a rookie free agent and became a Super Bowl champion with the team. He was also a member of the Buffalo Bills, where he played for five seasons, and the Washington Redskins, where he played for seven seasons. Fletcher was well known for never missing a game in his career, being one of only four players in NFL history to play in over 250 consecutive games. Fletcher also holds the record for consecutive starts at the linebacker position. He eventually finished his career with 215 consecutive games started, which ties him for 6th all time along with Alan Page and Ronde Barber. London has agreed to be a writer and representative for the FantasyDraft brand and serves as an ambassador to the site. He has no more access to the site than the typical user.
