Underdogs Refuse to Lose

Desperation fueled all the underdogs on Monday night.

The 8th seed Nets got a much needed win against the Hawks to tie the series at two wins apiece. Atlanta looked as if they were going to take this series in four, maybe five games, but the Nets have found a way to win on their home court. Brooklyn got help from every player to take Game 4 in overtime 120-115, and now they’ve forced a Game 6 at home.

Milwaukee was down 0-3 just a couple days ago, but a last-second shot kept their season alive. The Bucks rode that momentum into Chicago and battled the Bulls for the right to live another night. The Bulls’ turnovers, combined with timely shots from the young Bucks, helped Milwaukee steal one on the road in a 94-88 victory. Chicago is still up in the series 3-to-2, but the Bucks  have a pulse.

The night ended with Portland trying not to be swept by Memphis. The Trailblazers came out with a lot of heart and didn’t hang their heads when they were down. They got big baskets down the stretch to grab a 99-92 win and forced a Game 5 in Memphis.
