Braun and Cabrera Yesterday’s Fantasy MVPs

Ryan Braun

Brewers’ right fielder Ryan Braun had the biggest showing of any player yesterday in terms of fantasy, posting 37 fantasy points with his line of 2 HR, 5 RBI, 2 R, and 1 1B. The win wrapped up a three-game series against the Reds which Cincinnati had already clinched with a second win on the 28th.

Miguel Cabrera, 1B for the Tigers, also came up with 37 FPs on the day during Detroit’s 10-7 over the Twins. Cabrera’s performance yesterday certainly came as a good return for the just $9,600 in salary space he cost FantasyDraft players.

Another contributor to the Detroit win yesterday was Tigers’ catcher James McCann, who turned out to be one of the biggest steals of the day. McCann came up with 26 FPs with his line of 1 2B, 1 HR, 3 RBI, 1 R, and 1 1B, and ran players only $5,200.
